Fazli Ayob - “Faz”
Coach Faz embarked on his professional football career at the age of 18 in the Singapore League. Prior to this, between the ages of 15 and 18, he was a member of the National Football Academy (NFA), representing Singapore in notable tournaments such as the Lions City Cup, ASEAN Cup, AFF Championship, and Newspaper Cup.
At 19, Coach Faz played for the Young Lions in the Professional League and also made his mark on the international stage by representing Singapore at the SEA Games, where he earned a bronze medal in Laos.
He continued his career with Lions XII, competing in the Malaysian Cup. By the age of 22, he received a call-up to the Senior National Team for the King's Cup held in Thailand. In 2013, he showcased his talent in the AFF Suzuki Cup, helping his team clinch the championship title.
From 2014 to 2016, Coach Faz joined Home United Football Club, participating in the AFC League and achieving runner-up status in both the RHB Cup and Singapore League. During the 2018-2019 season, he played for Tampines Rovers and competed in the Champions League, finishing as the second runner-up.
In 2020, he returned to Home United, leading the team to victory in the Southeast Asia Cup and securing the championship title. After retiring from professional football the same year, Coach Faz began his coaching journey at the Liverpool Academy from 2021 to 2023.
Coach Faz’s football philosophy centers on believing in the process and fostering determination to grow stronger.
Coach Faz has built a commendable career both as a player and a coach, with a strong emphasis on development and teamwork. His experiences in various competitions have not only shaped his skills on the field but also informed his coaching philosophy.
In addition to his coaching, Coach Faz's credentials, including a Diploma C license and extensive playing experience, lend credibility to his methods. He is dedicated to fostering a positive environment where players can develop their technical skills, tactical understanding, and mental resilience.
